We ordered a stainless steel hood meant to fit snugly between our cabinets. When the contractors went to install it, they ran into issues getting it to fit in the space. That was pretty concerning, given that the measurements at the top and bottom were both just shy of the cabinet space. After checking that our cabinet was level, we discovered that the hood was warped on one side, causing the cabinet door to rub against it, while at the bottom, there was a noticeable gap between the hood and the cabinet.

We contacted Coppersmith's customer support, and they suggested some methods to reshape the metal. However, they warned us that if any damage occurred during these attempts, we wouldn’t be able to get a remake or refund. We tried a few of their suggestions, but when those didn’t pan out, we attempted some additional fixes they recommended. When it became clear that nothing was working, we requested a remake since the product didn’t meet the specifications. After a week of waiting, they declined our request and mentioned they would look for some 'other' solution. It’s been over a week since then, and we haven’t heard back.

We clearly received a product that didn’t align with the specs, and their support has been lacking in helping us resolve this. Each time our contractors return to try another fix they suggested, it’s costing us more money. Now, it’s been a whole month since we first attempted to install the hood, and we still don’t have one in our kitchen. We’ve shelled out thousands for a product that doesn’t fit, and they’ve gone silent on us.

While searching for Copper Hoods and Sinks, I came across CopperSmith online. I couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. Their operation is run very professionally. If you're in the market for what they sell, I definitely suggest reaching out to them.

Earlier this year, we placed an order for a big copper sink. There were a few hold-ups because of shortages (not Coppersmith's fault). When our sink finally showed up, it turned out to be the wrong one. We reached out to customer service right away, and they were super quick to locate our sink, set up the pickup, and ensure the delivery was correct. Their communication was excellent throughout the whole process. The sink itself is just stunning! Couldn't be more thrilled with it!

I was pretty nervous about buying such a pricey item online without having seen it first. But honestly, this turned out to be one of the best shopping experiences I've had. There was a bit of a wait between placing my order and the shipping, and I felt like I wasn’t getting enough updates. However, I reached out to customer service, and they were super helpful in filling me in on the status of my hood. It showed up perfectly packed, with not a single dent or scratch on the crate. Once it shipped, I could track it all the way to my doorstep. And when it was finally installed, it looked even more stunning in real life than in any photo. It’s just what I was hoping for!

I've had the same situation as many folks here. I ordered and paid for a hood back in March, and it still hasn't shown up. Communication is non-existent unless you contact them, and even then, they just push the delivery date further out by weeks or even months. Seriously, think twice if you're considering buying from them. I really regret my decision. Now I'm down $6000 and have no real hope of ever getting my hood. I just wish someone had given me a heads-up.

Got my order way later than expected. I was okay with the delay due to the pandemic. But I dropped a ton of cash on this and ended up with a damaged motor (it still works, though) and a hood that’s all dented. They mentioned they’d lodge a complaint with the shipping company and that it would take about 45 days. Well, it’s been way longer than that, and they’re ignoring my emails. I’m really not satisfied. This was our big treat for the kitchen remodel, and I’m not happy with how it’s been managed. If I’m shelling out that kind of money, I expect my item to be in top shape.

My experience with this company has been downright terrible. Seriously, DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER HERE!!! My project is stuck because of my order. They told me I’d receive my hood in 7-11 weeks, but I never got any updates on when it would actually arrive. I had to reach out myself to find out about the delivery, and each time, they just tacked on another 2-4 weeks to my wait. Debbie promised to keep me posted weekly, but I never heard from her. They make you pay upfront for your product but fail to deliver. This is a scam, and I’m reaching out to the Better Business Bureau about what happened. They’re just taking money and not providing customers with their orders. Seriously, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
